hines wardMy top 3 “winners” of Dancing With The Stars Week Three.

As there often is in Dancing with the Stars there were winners and losers this week as some dancers rose to the challenge (Hines Ward) and others fell hard (Kirstie Alley). Here are my three picks for this week’s DWTS winners.

It was personal stories week on Dancing With The Stars so all the dancers danced to a song that had personal meaning to them. Chelsea Kane danced to “Chelsea” which was written by a musician for her as a way for him to profess his love for her. She said it symbolized her first real love. She and partner Mark Ballas hit the floor with a sexy, flirty cha-cha with Chelsea wearing a barely there outfit that was basically a bra and tiny little ultra-tight skirt. This is the first time we have really seen her body in full and it is magnificent. Her abs alone are mesmerizing. The dance was high energy and well done and Chelsea scored a 23, got praises from the judges and solidified herself as season 12’s sex symbol.

Hines Ward followed up last week’s great dance with another amazing performance. He danced to Earth, Wind and Fires “Fantasy” as a tribute to his mom. Decked out in Steeler yellow and black Hines killed it. Carrie Ann Inaba even said that he was replacing Emmitt Smith as the DWTS “twinkle toes.” His 25 put him in first place and announced that he is a serious contender in this competition.

After a disappointing first few weeks model Petra Nemcova found her stride. She and partner Dmitry Chaplin danced a waltz to “You Raise Me Up,” which she said is a song that helped her find courage in the aftermath of the tsunami she survived. She looks ethereal in her costume and finally found a way to put her long legs and arms to perfect use. The dance was emotional, and beautiful. Her 25 tied her for the top with Hines.

These three stood out this week on Dancing with the Stars and all performed well. If any of these three (Hines Ward, Chelsea Kane, Petra Nemcova) were voted out tonight it would be a major upset.
