The Baltimore Ravens are gearing up for their NFL Monday Night Football match-up against the New York Jets. However for Ravens linebacker, Ray Lewis, his Old Spice ad campaign might be the only thing on his mind.

Get Up to the Second Odds on Ravens vs. Jets At Bet Us.

In the first Monday Night Football match-up of the 2010 NFL season, pitting the Baltimore Ravens against the New York Jets; will Ray Lewis and his Hollywood dreams interfere with his ability to think clearly on the field? The Hollywood dreams in question here stem from two brand new Old Spice commercials which have Ray Lewis as the spokesman.

The first of the two Old Spice “Smell Like A Man” commercials, has Ray Lewis all lathered up in nothing but Old Spice Swagger body wash. Lewis is quoted saying: “I don’t play fantasy football. I play for-real football.” Lewis then goes on to grab a saddle, which he throws onto a robotic Baltimore Raven and soars off into outer space.

Now we get to the newest Old Spice commercial in Ray Lewis’ lineup. This one has the Baltimore Ravens linebacker running down the football field, while being chased by the New England Patriots and someone in a bear costume. As he is running down the field, Ray Lewis says: “Hi, I’m Ray Lewis, women want me, men want to be me and animals want to learn how to talk so they can hang out with me.”

The second commerical is clearly the funnier of the two as the first one is just too weird for me. The question at hand here is: Has Ray Lewis gone Hollywood and will these Old Spice commercials affect his performance in tonights Monday Night Football game against the New York Jets?

Here’s the Odds for tonight’s Ravens Vs. Jets from Bet Us:
Baltimore Ravens +1.5 (-110), Over 36.5 (-110) more.
New York Jets -1.5 (-110), Under 36.5 (-110) more.

Watch tonight as Ray Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens take on the New York Jets in the first game of the NFL Monday Night Football doubleheader at 7pm ET on ESPN.
