Miley Cyrus: I’m A Hypocritical Snob
Miley Cyrus takes a hypocritical shot at Rebecca Black.
It’s common knowledge that Miley Cyrus is an incredibly talented singer, whose strong vocals have carried her career throughout. Her fame is clearly unrelated to her father’s connections in the music industry, for instance. [It’s Radiohead all over again, read below]
So it should come as no shock that Miley Cyrus has spoken out against people like Rebecca Black skyrocketing to fame via sites like Youtube. In Miley’s own ever-so poignant words, “It should be harder to be an artist…you shouldn’t just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour.” Riveting, I know.
This reminds me of the famous Radiohead incident, who famously refused to meet with Miley Cyrus at the Grammy’s in 2009. In Miley’s words, “Stinkin’ Radiohead! I’m gonna ruin them. I’m gonna tell everyone.”
In related news, things are looking up for little Rebecca Black. The 13-year-old Californian is currently working on a new single to follow “Friday,” the gem that is generally regarded as the worst song ever. Black’s new single is appropriately called “LOL.”
