Dancing With The Stars Results: Mike Catherwood, Petra Nemcova, Wendy Williams

dancing with the stars resultsLast night Mike Catherwood, Petra Nemcova and Wendy Williams were my least favorite on DWTS.

While some dancers stepped in up in week 2 of Dancing with the Stars, others still struggled. Here is my bottom 3 from this week’s performances as we go into tonight’s first live results show and elimination of the 2011 competition.

Mike Catherwood was a lot better than he was last week, but there was still a lot of room for improvement. During rehearsals he admitted he was worried and nervous and needed to impress if he wanted to stick around. He and partner Lacey Schwimmer (who even tried to help by showing off her ripped abs this week) seemed to be having fun, but when he hit the floor it was still a little stiff and tight.  He got a score of 17 for a two week total of 30 out of 60.

Petra Nemcova looked amazing, but there were worries going into this week because supposedly the jive is tough for tall people. During rehearsals she had the steps okay, but the tricks were a little rough and she had some trouble trusting partner Dmitry Chaplin who took her to a trampoline and some mats to get her comfortable with the moves. The dance itself wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either and the DWTS judges were pretty lukewarm to it. They gave her an 18 for a two week total of 36 out of 60.

Wendy Williams rounds out my bottom three for week 2 of Dancing With The Stars. She had a lot of improving to do. She vowed during rehearsals that she was going to let her personality shine and even joked that her boobs were too big for this dance and it was a mess. Tony Dovolani encouraged her to not be timid and she seemed to be finding her way. Her quickstep was a huge improvement over last week, but it was pretty simple and easy. They went with the idea that less was more. The judges gave her a 17 for a two week total of 31 out of 60.

There were a few other low scores this week, but to me these are the three (Mike Catherwood, Petra Nemcova, Wendy Williams) that stood out as the dancers who are most in trouble of going home this week so they make up my DWTS bottom 3. Tune in tonight at 9PM on ABC for the first results show of the season and find out if any of these teams are sent packing.
