Worst Celeb Jurors for Barry Bonds Trial
Worst celebrity jurors for the Barry Bonds trial.
It’s the first day of Spring and coincidentally, the first day of jury selection for Barry Bonds’ perjury case. Bonds is currently facing charges based on his allegedly taking performance-enhancing drugs (steroids) as a professional baseball player. The jury selection process is very tedious; the ideal juror is as unbiased as possible. So, let’s have some fun and brainstorm what celebs wouldn’t be ideal candidates for this case.
The worst possible celeb juror for the Barry Bonds case has to be celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. For example, question number 33 on the juror questionnaire is, “Do you write your own blog or post comments on other blogs?” Perez would have to answer yes to this question and a bunch of other questions written to assess how biased a candidate is, and if they have heard about the Bonds case through social media, or the news. And besides, Perez is very opinionated-that’s no secret.
Another awful Barry Bonds juror candidate is Lindsay Lohan. A jury should be composed of being who have great moral standing…law abiding citizens. Based on Lindsay’s past conduct, she would have to answer affirmatively to question number 22 (Have you ever been a party to a lawsuit, whether civil or criminal?).
Finally, there’s Arnold Schwarzenegger. The body-builder turned politician has already admitted having used performance-enhancing drugs in the past, and I’m not sure how Ahnold would feel about question number 46: “Governmental agencies should be involved with professional sports and their governing of steroid use.”
Those are my picks for worst celeb jury candidates (Barry Bonds trial). Who else should be on the list?
