Black Swan Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis Make one Hot Scene
Darren Aronofsky casts Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis for ballet inspired, Black Swan.
When he first announced that his next film Black Swan was going to be about the world of ballet, many people thought that this might be the end to director Darren Aronofsky’s magical run. His previous movies Pi, Requiem For a Dream and The Wrestler had put him on the map as one of Hollywood’s most talented storytellers. When he said that he wished to make his new movie Black Swan as much like a documentary about the behind the scenes world of ballet as he could the questions arose. Could even the supremely talented Aronofsky make this interesting?
The answer seems to be yes. As more and more details leaked the project started creating buzz. Casting Natalie Portman in the lead role seemed like a home run. She is universally considered one of the most talented young actors working today. That she is gorgeous and seemed to fit the physical mold of a ballerina didn’t hurt. She portrays the Black Swan, the lead role in a large, and famous dance company’s new ballet. She is the Prima Ballerina. All eyes are on her. Mila Kunis plays her main rival. Darren Aronofsky has never been afraid of casting against the grain and this one may be a streak of genius. Kunis is mostly known for her roles in romantic comedies or as the voice of Meg from The Family Guy. Dropping her in the middle of what is shaping up the be a pretty dark drama makes her the fish out of water and could give her just the right edge to strike a chord with the crowd.
As these two rivals struggle for the spotlight, Black Swan hit audiences with the coup de gras. Aggressive lesbian sex! Rumors started flying that the movie would include a lesbian scene between Portman and Kunis. Fanboys were in a frenzy speculating just how this would go down. Sources then revealed that the scene was so intense that it left Portman a little shell-shocked. Add to the fire the release of the trailer showing Portman planting what appears to be a very impassioned kiss on Kunis and a full on wild fire has been created.
There is no definitive word on just how explicit the scene is. The movie premieres this week at the Venice film festival so all of our questions will soon be answered.
Judging by the trailer and what has been leaked, it seems that with Black Swan, Darren Aronofsky has again crafted a very interesting movie that takes the viewer into a world they may have otherwise known little about. Like he did with The Wrestler, he pulls the curtain back and lets us see all the ugly insides. However, the bigger question – the question on everyone’s mind – remains unanswered: is the lesbian sex really that hot? We can only hope it lives up to all the hype.
