Top 4 Memorable Moments at Oscars 2011
Our memorable moments from last night’s Oscars 2011 (Academy Awards).
Last night at the Oscars 2011 there were several moments one might call memorable. I have narrowed mine down to the top four of the evening at the Academy Awards. Included in my top 4 memorable Oscar moments are Anne Hathaway sings to Hugh Jackman, Kirk Douglas hits on Hathaway, James Franco calls out Charlie Sheen and Melissa Leo drops the f-bomb. Sit back and relax as I hightlight four events that I found quite entertaining.
Kirk Douglas got on stage to announce the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress and made quite some funny comments about Anne Hathaway and how gorgeous she was. He said he wished there were leading ladies that looked like her back in his day. Of course the Oscars 2011 memorable moment everyone is talking about today is Melissa Leo dropping the f-bomb during her acceptance speech. She won the award for Best Supporting Actress in which Kirk Douglas announced the winner.
Last but not least counts for two Academy Awards 2011 memorable moments even though they happened at about the same time. Anne Hathaway took the stage in a tuxedo and sang to Hugh Jackman. Hathaway did a good job singing and it was quite funny watching her make fun of Hugh for ditching their musical duo. Right after Hathaway finished, James Franco came out looking like a high value hooker. Dressed in a hot pink dress and blonde wig, Franco stated “Charlie Sheen just texted me” and the crowd loved it.
