Reality Robot: America’s Next Top Model, Shedding for the Wedding, American Idol

shedding for the weddingTonight is chock full of Reality TV as two shows premiere and American Idol heads to Vegas Baby!

America’s Next Top Model will air its Season 16 premiere tonight on CW. Tyra Banks returns as 14 models strive to be crowned winner. Sara Rue will host the brand new show Shedding For The Wedding in which contestants compete in weight loss challenges for an elaborate wedding. Jennifer Lopez and the American Idol gang head to Las Vegas as the contestants tackle songs of The Beatles.

First up is the America’s Next Top Model Season 16 premiere on CW. 14 young ladies who dream of being a super model will be judged by Tyra Banks, Andre Leon Talley and Nigel Barker. The girls will battle it out in a series of fashion/model related challenges for the grand prize, a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl. Tonight the new contestants will move into their house, meet Erin Wasson and attempt to walk over water in a giant plastic bubble! Make sure you tune in for the America’s Next Top Model premiere at 8|7c on CW.

Immediately following the ANTM premiere, CW will debut its brand new series, Shedding for the Wedding. Think The Biggest Loser meets Bridalplasty and that is what you will be watching with this new ridiculous weight loss show. Sara Rue will be the host of this disaster as couple’s battle through weight loss challenges for a chance to win their dream wedding. It already sounds AWFUL! Tune in tonight at 9|8c on CW for the Shedding for the Wedding Series premiere.

In case you do not want to watch 14 models that don’t eat, FOX will air a brand new episode of American Idol tonight. Having survived Hollywood Week, Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest will be taking the contestants to Las Vegas! The Idol hopefuls have their work cut out for them this week as they will sing songs of The Beatles. I can’t wait to see how they all do and what kind of trouble Mr. Tyler gets himself into while in Vegas. Make sure you tune in at 8|7c on FOX for the American Idol, Las Vegas 2-hour special.
