MacBook Pro 2011: Thunderbolt Rumor, Specs Leak

The MacBook  Pro 2011 should be officially announced tomorrow but photos of the new laptop have leaked early.

People eagerly await the MacBook Pro 2011 announcement which should go down tomorrow via Apple press conference. Photos of the new laptop have already leaked onto the internet, showing off the full specs shit and some rather interesting images of Thunderbolt. This is Intel’s high-speed Light Peak implementation Apple has been talking about using. Will the new MacBook live up to all the hype and buzz it is generating?

Something tells me that Apple has spent too much time on the Light Peak Thunderbolt nonsense and forgot about the basics. Reading over the MacBook Pro 2011 specs sheet, I see that is has shared video memory? EW! I also see that is now supports SDXC cards, up to 2GB…that’s cool being that the largest you can buy now is 64MB and the 2GB ones are probably a long ways off.

I honestly don’t see what all the hype is for the new MacBook. You get a dual-core Intel i5 processor and 4 GB of RAM…woohoo! If you have money to burn and HAVE to have an Apple then I guess you will blow your money on the sure-to-be overpriced MacBook Pro 2011, which will be announced tomorrow.

Here is the picture of the leaked 2011 MacBook specs and Thunderbolt port:
