TV Tonight: Top Chef All Stars, American Idol, Survivor Redemption Island

top chef sesame streetTop Chef All Stars gets a visit from Sesame Street, American Idol Hollywood Week continues and Survivor Redemption Island airs its season premiere.

Tonight Top Chef All Stars will air its “Lockdown” episode on BRAVO in which the remaining chefs get a visit from Sesame Street characters. American Idol will return for Hollywood Week round two in which Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez will judge the dreaded Group performances. Going head-to-head with Idol, CBS will air its Survivor Redemption Island premiere in which Jeff Probst will return as the show’s host.

Last week on Top Chef All Stars, the contestants had to make a meal for late night host, Jimmy Fallon. Fabio failed to create an enjoyable hamburger and was sent home. Tonight, Padma Lakshmi will return as the host and the Chefs will get a visist from several Sesame Street characters. In the episode entitled “Lockdown” the remaining cheftestants must bake cookies for their quickfire challenge. As for the elimination challenge, they will be tasked to create a meal demo inside Target. Make sure you tune in tonight for a brand new episode of Top Chef on BRAVO at 10|9c.

American Idol will be going head to head with the Survivor Redemption Island premiere tonight. Idol will air Hollywood Week round two in which the contestants must perform in groups. How many girls will Steven Tyler hit on tonight and will Jennifer Lopez stop being nice already?  Hopefully no more of our American Idol 2011 favorites will be sent home tonight. Tune in at 8|7c on FOX to watch it all go down.

On the Survivor end of things, Jeff Probst will return to host the brand new Survivor Redemption Island tonight at 8|7c on CBS. This season promises to deliver tons of twists and turns as Boston Rob and Russell Hantz return to the show. Contestants will also have a 2nd chance if they are eliminated with the new “Redemption Island” that has been added. I look forward to the season premiere tonight and I have my DVR fired up so I can watch both American Idol and Survivor!
