American Idol 2011 Hollywood Week Group Auditions Preview
American Idol Hollywood Week Group Auditions.
American Idol will be heating up television sets across the country today as tensions rise. Now that the screening process is completed, auditions are over, and contestants will be forced to compete against other performers who have also been declared fit for Hollywood by Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.
Tonight’s episode will show the hopefuls as they try and keep things together while performing in a group. This seems like a rather cruel thing to do, forcing individuals to perform together while in reality everyone is trying to outshine the person next to him or her. Past seasons have demonstrated well what this leg of the competition does to candidates, and its thoroughly entertaining, in all honesty. Tonight you can definitely expect some tensions to flare within groups; this is arguably the most stressful part of the competition!
Judge Jennifer Lopez shared her thoughts on Hollywood week, saying, “I mean, I think Hollywood week, there was stand out moments of which I have not seen in 10 years, on Idol for me.”
After a decade of being on television, American Idol has indeed had its share of talented contestants. Randy Jackson says, “This is the best talent I think we’ve ever had and I think…this is probably the best Hollywood week we’ve ever had, this past week.”
Be sure you don’t miss a thing! American Idol will continue with group performances tonight, on FOX.
