Arcade Fire wins at the Grammys and heads to Bonnaroo 2011 with Eminem.
The famous Bonnaroo festival which takes place annually in Manchester, Tennessee, has announced what artists will be headlining the 2011 festival. This year there will be some major performances, with Eminem, Arcade Fire, and Lil Wayne all featured on the bill. They have even hired Conan O’Brien to introduce the official Bonnaroo 2011 lineup.
The Bonnaroo 2011 festival, which takes place from June 9th-June 12th this year, will also feature performances by The Strokes, Florence and the Machine, Primus, Girl Talk, Iron and Wine, Explosions in the Sky, Deerhunter, and the Black Keys.
We should not fail to mention that both Arcade Fire and Eminem were winners at the 2011 Grammy Awards this past Sunday, all the more reason to try and purchase tickets to attend the 2011 Bonnaroo festival.
At the festival’s website, tickets for Price Level 1 have already sold out via the holiday presale. Tickets for Price levels 2, 3, and 4 will officially be on sale February 19th. Price level 2 tickets are available for $224.50 (plus applicable fees). If you want to go VIP, those tickets are notably more expensive; a VIP package is currently selling for $1349.50. The VIP package includes 2 VIP tickets, preferred parking and camping, access to nicer bathrooms, access to 3 on-site VIP lounges, and a couple other goodies.
Other performers playing at this year’s Bonnaroo include Big Boi, Ray LaMontagne, and Robyn. Bonnaroo is really mixing this up this year; genres range from underground hip-hop (Atmosphere) to gypsy punk (Gogol Boredello). If you can afford to make Bonnaroo this year, it will definitely be a festival worth checking out!
