paula abdul simon cowellPaula Abdul’s new show Live To Dance has been cancelled, following a less than stellar first season.

Live To Dance just ended its first season and we have learned it has been cancelled, there will be no second season. I bet Paula Abdul is wishing she never left American Idol, right about now. There is still hope for Abdul as she may not be unemployed for long. Simon Cowell may hear the news and call her up to offer her a spot on The X-Factor judge’s panel. What do you all think?

I know that Paula Abdul was extremely passionate by her new show Live To Dance. I can only imagine how devastated she must have been when she heard that it was cancelled. She had to know it would happen, I mean she did try and go up against American Idol; pretty stupid on the part of CBS. Hopefully Paula we be receiving a job offer from her old pal, Simon Cowell. Since she severed ties with American Idol, going back there is out of the picture. What do you all think the chances are of Paula being asked to join X-Factor? [answer poll below]

There you have it, after one disastrous season, Live To Dance has been cancelled. The source of this news is RadarOnline and we will update this once an official statement has been released by CBS or Paula Abdul herself.

We want to wish Paula the best of luck with whatever future endeavors she might partake in; hopefully its X-Factor!

  1. The disasterous season was only because CBS stuck this show in an open timeslot during the break between Survivor seasons. And then Idol moved their show to Wednesday nights opposite Paula. The show itself was NOT a disaster. This was a new Paula and she was in her element. The show was charming and she is a wonderful mentor to dancers. She worked extremely hard as an executive producer. My guess is that Simon will not only name her as a judge on XF but also as an executive producer. And I’m sure that has been the plan all along…since they both left Idol.

    • I have to agree with you Liz. I actually enjoyed the show before American Idol took over the airwaves. I really do hope Paula goes to X-Factor as we all need a little Abdul in our TV lineup.
