Super Bowl XLV 2011 Score by Quarter: Did You Win?
A breakdown of the Super Bowl XLV scores in quarter increments.
The 2011 Super Bowl XLV aired yesterday and here is a score by quarter breakdown of the big game. I know a lot of people were involved in betting pools with work and friends so this should help determine whether or not you won big money! Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers came out with guns blazing as they went up 14-0 over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1st quarter. Could Ben Roethlisberger come back from a 14 point deficit?
In the 2nd quarter Big Ben lead the Pittsburgh Steelers down the field, putting 10 points on the board. Aaron Rodgers wasn’t going down without a fight as he scored another TD making Super Bowl the score at the half, 21-10 Packers. In the 3rd quarter the Steelers would score yet another touchdown and their defense held the Packers to no points, making the score 21-17 going into the 4th. Pittsburgh Steelers would go on to score another touchdown and get the 2-point conversion. That was not enough to beat Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The cheese heads would score another touchdown and a field goal making the final score 31-25 and them the Super Bowl XLV champions.
