Super Bowl 2011: Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Slash
Super Bowl 2011 performances include Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Slash and Christina Aguilera.
The NFL announced back in November that the Black Eyed Peas would be the half-time performers at Super Bowl 2011. Usher and Slash are headed to Dallas as well. It’s been slated that these two top performers will be making a guest appearance with the Black Eyed Peas during half-time.
Wil.i.am appeared on Usher’s O.M.G. single. Slash has played the famous Guns N Roses song “Sweet Child of Mine” with the Black Eyed Peas on their tour, and has also collaborated with Fergie on her single from last year, “Beautiful Dangerous.”
Super Bowl Half-time shows are highly criticized. Will the Black Eyed Peas survive all of the criticism? I think they have enough talent, and give good performances, that they’ll make the cut. Just as long as they don’t lip sync! LOL.
Christina Aguilera will be performing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl 2011 this year. Hoping the weather will remain cold in Dallas, because this will force the songstress to have a good amount of clothes on. Her voice is phenomenal, but her ever changing looks have not been so great lately. Undoubtedly, she will give a wonderful performance. Here’s what Christina had to say about being selected to sing our National Anthem, “I have been performing the Anthem since I was seven years old, and I must say, the Super Bowl is a dream come true. I am really excited to be part of such an iconic event.” Sounds like she’s excited to me.
