live to dance semi finalsLive To Dance semi-finals continue, American Idol heads to Milwaukee and Jimmy Kimmel welcomes Amy Poehler.

Usually a pretty good night for television, you’ll find mostly reruns.  There are a few good shows that are new (American Idol, Live To Dance, Jimmy Kimmel) and worth watching:

American Idol – Fox – 8/7C – tonight you’ll find hopefuls from the Milwaukee area vying for the golden ticket to Hollywood and a shot at being a little bit closer to the American Idol title.  Based on some sources, Milwaukee finds some good contenders, must to the surprise of American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson.  I’m hoping for some bad, entertaining, and ludicrous auditions as well.  This always makes the show more enjoyable.

Live To Dance – CBS – 8/7C – need your Paula Abdul fix?  Well tune in tonight for the semi-final round two.  Six acts compete tonight to move on to the next round.  You’ll also find out the winner of America’s vote for the next spot in the finals.

Cougar Town – ABC – 9:30/8:30C – Jules is up to her quirky ways again when she invents a game to kill the time when the Cul-de-sac gang changes its plans for movie night.  I’m sure there will be some wine involved.

Jimmy Kimmel – ABC – 12:05am/11:05C – Jimmy’s guests will be funny ladies Amy Poehler from Parks and Recreation, and Martha Plimpton from Raising Hope.

Dog the Bounty Hunter – A&E – 8 & 9pm – the first hour brings us a retrospective of Dog and team’s first 199 episodes!  Sounds exciting!  Then at 9pm, Dog helps a fellow bondsman in trouble in his 200th episode.  Who watches this guy?  I’ve seen 1 out of 200 episodes, and it was 1 too many.

Will you watch American Idol or Live To Dance tonight? Such a tough decision to make.
