american idol cheeseheadsAmerican Idol 2011 auditions head to Milwaukee tonight as the cheeseheads come out by the thousands.

Tonight’s episode brings us to Milwaukee where Cheeseheads waited in line for the chance at being the next American Idol.  Will there be a good amount of talent from this area?  Sources say that the judges were pleasantly surprised at what they found throughout the two day audition that will air tonight at 8/7C on FOX, and again tomorrow at 8/7C.

Season 10 brings a lot of changes to American Idol.  There are new judges, except for our dawg, Randy Jackson, and new cities where they are scouring America for the next “Idol.”  American Idol definitely has a different vibe going on this year without love-him or hate-him judge Simon Cowell.  But I have to say, I’m enjoying the new judges.  Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez bring credibility as a judge of a singing contest.  Their in the music industry and can give their knowledgeable feedback.  Now if J-Lo can only toughen up a bit.  Seems as though the contestants can read her inability to say no.  Some of the contestants last week played on this and were able to plead their way to a yes from Jenny on the Block.

Randy keeps things in check, and Steven Tyler needs to keep his libido in check.  Steven, you’re old enough to be the contestant’s grandfather.  However, I do enjoy his enthusiasm and participation when someone good is auditioning.   Overall, I like the judges and look forward to what the season has in store.  My guilty pleasure is watching the poor saps who think (or act) like they have talent and showcase it in front of the judges and the millions of us watching.
