Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Divorce, Rehab, Cat Fights!
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finale offered up divorce, rehab and cat fights.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season finale was drama filled as expected but also a bit of a downer. To start off Camille Grammer talked about her trip to the Tony Awards where she hoped to rekindle the romance with her husband Kelsey Grammer. Instead of the magic weekend she was hoping for, she found out her husband was sleeping with someone else in one of the worst possible ways, through the doorman. When she attempted to enter their apartment building the doorman was so adamant she was not Mrs. Kelsey Grammer that she had to show id. Ouch. Camille admits to begging him to stay in the marriage but ultimately decides it can’t be saved and files for divorce. Of course, we now know Kelsey had found a new love in New York and is engaged to Kayte Walsh, a 29 year old flight attendant.
Taylor’s birthday party is the scene for most of the Real Housewives finale’s excitement. Due to the circumstances of her marriage, Camille does not attend, but all the other ladies including Kim Richards, who has made a special attempt at looking glam, are in attendance. All seems to be going well when Taylor decides to confront Kim regarding her feelings of being thrown in the middle of the Kyle Richards vs. Camille fight in New York. Why she chooses to do this at her birthday party I don’t know, but it doesn’t help that Kim arrived looking like she had a few cocktails under her belt already. The argument between Taylor and Kim gets heated, Kyle is close by, hears her name, and decides to step in, with Lisa and Adrienne following close behind. Soon the fight is no longer between Taylor and Kim, but Kyle and Kim. The argument turns from this one incident at dinner in New York to issues that go way, way back between sisters. It is clear Kim feels since she worked as a child star and provided for their family that Kyle should be more grateful. Kyle feels Kim is an emotional burden left to her by their mother. Kim finally walks out and Adrienne finds her in the limo with Martin, who looking relieved, immediately hands the reigns over to her. Kim tells Adrienne how she felt attacked and Adrienne is doing her best to calm Kim down when Kyle enters the limo. Accusations are thrown around as to who has helped who and at one point Kyle climbs to the front of the limo looking like she is going to kick Kim’s ass, but Adrienne keeps this from happening .After it is clear she is getting nowhere with Kim, Kyle finally gets out of the car, telling Kim that her and her husband will no longer be helping her out in any way. Everyone eventually exits the limo leaving Kim in a crumpled mess and alone.
Other happenings of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finale were Lisa decided to put her foot down, making man candy Cedric move out of her house and Taylor’s dog Snowball found a new home in the hopes that this would calm her daughter’s allergy issues.
Overall the episode felt awkward, like at a dinner party where one couple starts fighting. However, it is always entertaining. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Show is next week, and we will see if the ladies are still at each others’ bejeweled throats.
