Palin Blood Libel Viral Video
Sarah Palin released a rather controversial video as a result of the Arizona shooting today in which she references an age old anti-Semitic term “Blood Libel.”
Sarah Palin is under fire yet again as she just released a viral “Blood Libel” video. Palin took to the web today as she commented on Jared Lee Loughner and the recent tragedy of the Arizona shootings. While she first acknowledged her sincerest remorse for the families and friends of the victims (Gabrielle Giffords included) she then took aim at the media. This is where things took a turn for the worse as Palin made an anti-Semitic comparison.
First let’s clear things up and define what Blood Libel actually is because I had no idea until today. Blood Libel is defined by Rabbi Hirschfield (HuffingtonPost) as the charge that Jews use the blood of non-Jews, typically that of children, for ritual purposes, especially the making of Passover matzah. That being said, I guess Sarah Palins remarks in her recent video have the Jewish Community up in arms.
As I have said before I don’t write on politics so I am going to leave this discussion up to your comments. What do you think of the Sarah Palin “Blood Libel” Video? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
