Glee: Super Bowl and Justin Bieber
Glee returns on Super Bowl Sunday and Justin Bieber declines invitation to guest star.
Glee the cultural TV phenomenon on FOX will return on Super Bowl Sunday with a brand new episode. While several rumors have been going around, Justin Bieber will not guest star on the show nor will he receive a tribute episode. I guess Cheryl Cole was not asked to be on the show as that was one of Bieber’s stipulations.
For all of you Gleeks out there, the wait is almost over as a brand new Glee episode will be airing on Super Bowl Sunday. Expect to see a performance of “Thriller” by Michael Jackson and a McKinley High Football championship. I can only assume that the Glee club will be performing the half-time show.
Justin Bieber was rumored to be making a guest appearance on Glee but when he demanded that Cheryl Cole also star, he was denied. Once that rumor was squashed, people started saying that Bieber Fever would get an entire episode dedicated to him, much like that of Britney Spears. Once again that was also just a rumor as Biebs doesn’t have a big enough song catalog. All hope is not lost for you Justin Bieber addicts out there as Sam (Chord Overstreet) is set to perform one of Bieber’s songs on an upcoming episode.
Make sure you tune in when Glee returns with a brand new episode on February 6, 2011. (Super Bowl Sunday)
