Kenny Chesney Takes Over The Radio With New Single The Boys of Fall
In what is perhaps the most highly anticipated album release of Kenny Chesney, “The Boys Of Fall” delivers passion and excellence as his first single off the upcoming “Hemingway’s Whiskey” album.
In “The Boys of Fall,” Kenny tackles one of his true passions, the sport of football. When the songwriters of “Boys”, Dave Turnbull and Casey Beathard, first brought it to Kenny Chesney, he was instantly hooked. “”I knew — as maybe only someone who has felt that thrill of rushing out onto the field on a cold Friday night can — that was exactly how it is,” Chesney explained.
In a recent interview with The Boot, Kenny Chesney states: “The song and the video [are] not just about people who play football and go onto be Joe Namath or Kirk Herbstreit. It’s about the moms driving their kids to practice, and the way this will shape the men their sons will become [or] the girls who come to the games and cheer, and are part of why the boys want to achieve. It’s about the towns that identify with the fate of their team so heavily. It’s a topic of conversation at the diner or the barbershop … the players who won’t play past high school, but use the lessons they learn to become successful as their lives evolve.”
Kenny Chesney who recently took a year off from his sold-out tours, has been in the studio, focusing on this brand new album. Chesney felt like he just needed time to hit the studio and experience the wonder of making an album once again.
“The Boys Of Fall” (currently on the radio) is Kenny’s first single off “Hemingway’s Whiskey” which is set to hit store shelves on September 28th.
