Eminem Dominates Billboard Album Charts With Recovery

eminemEminem dominates the recent album charts with his brand new album entitled “Recovery.”

Fans of the white rapper from Detroit have followed Eminem over the years, through the thick and thin. His past couple albums have been far from successful and for his fans, a hopeful return was all they could wish of Slim Shady.

In his most recent album release entitled “Recovery,” Marshall Mathers has officially returned. “Recovery” spends its third week straight at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200. Eminem’s new album has already pushed over 700,000 copies in its first week alone.

Of course these are just all numbers and figures, what about the content of the album itself?  Listening first hand to the “Recovery” album I will agree with any fan out there that this is some of his best work in years.

In his best duet with a female since “Stan ft. Dido,” “Love The Way You Lie ft. Rihanna” is an excellent blend of the foul mouthed, sharp-tongued rapper and the amazing voice of Rihanna singing the hook.

On this album Em has finally ditched the bullshit comical voices he would sing in on his last couple of albums. 11 years ago we all fell for his no bullshit, harsh style of rapping and I am proud to announce that it is back in full force.

Quite possibly my favorite track on the whole “Recovery” album is entitled “No Love.” Lil’ Wayne who was recently jailed makes an appearance on this track. The track immediately begins with Lil’ Wayne completely murdering the amazing beat in which this track is positioned around. To my surprise at the end, Eminem busts out rapping and I immediately gain a since of nostalgia from his golden years. It is with this track that I could officially say Marshall Mathers was back and is not going anywhere.

For those who are still skeptical despite the Billboard Charts and my praise in this review, go pick up Eminem’s Recovery album, which is in stores now.
