Carrie Underwood wins big and owns the night at the 2010 CMT Music Awards where she took home two belt buckles.
Carrie Underwood, newly engaged to hockey star Mike Fisher, attended the 2010 CMT Music Awards last night and was nominated for three belt buckles, including the highly coveted Video Of The Year.
Even though Carrie Underwood lost the Female Video Of The Year award to fellow female country star Miranda Lambert, she still went on to claim two out of the three belt buckles she was in the running for.
Carrie was first rewarded with the CMT belt buckle for CMT Performance Of The Year for her performance on the CMT show Invitation Only: Carrie Underwood.
As the night went on, Carrie Underwood took the stage to perform her hit new single “Undo It”. Despite a minor technical difficulty with Carrie’s microphone, the hot young country star delivered an amazing performance.
The show wrapped up with the highly coveted belt buckle for Video of the Year. Carrie Underwood was announced as the winner, beating out the young country sensation Taylor Swift.
Before making her way to the stage, Carrie Underwood gave her fiance, Mike Fisher a big kiss on camera. I guess Carrie wanted everyone to know that even though Mike Fisher is just a NHL hockey player, she still loves him and is happy that they are engaged.
The 2010 CMT Music Awards was a night filled with star-studded performances from country music’s biggest stars. Carrie Underwood delivered an amazing performance on top of bringing home two CMT belt buckles.
