If you’re a die-hard ‘Twilight’ saga fan, you know that the movie ‘Eclipse’ hits theaters on June 30th and the soundtrack ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’ for the much-anticipated movie is already available.

The soundtracks for ‘Twilight’ and ‘New Moon’ have been one of the highlights for me personally. I really enjoy the music that has been picked for each film and love the fact that author Stephenie Meyer actually listened to each track while writing each book. ‘Twilight’ and ‘New Moon’ each sold over 3.6 million soundtrack copies. Over 400 eager artists submitted songs for consideration to be part of the ‘Eclipse’ soundtrack.

The soundtrack for ‘Eclipse’ is expected to sell in record numbers. The album features tracks from Vampire Weekend, The Dead Weather (featuring Jack White of The White Stripes, The Bravery, and Band of Horses. Also featured is of course Muse, a band that author Stephenie Meyer often credits for providing the background music while the series was being written. The original motion picture soundtrack for ‘Twilight’ featured Thom Yorke of Radiohead, The Killers, and Death Cab for Cutie.

The collection of Indie/Alternative tracks on the ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse Original Motion Picture Soundtrack’ should definitely appeal to “twihards” as well as regular human folk who enjoy a broad range of music.
