Charlie Sheen Hated in The Big Apple
CHARLIE SHEEN HITS NEW YORK
Charlie Sheen was in New York over the weekend. While doing his “Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option” Tour, he made two stops this last weekend at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. Both shows were completely sold out.
So far, Charlie Sheen has tailored his performances to the cities that he has been in so far. On Friday night, Sheen took the stage around 8:30 p.m. and was received by a mix of applause as well as boos. The remainder of the show was a bunch of barely coherent stories about hotel stays, locking himself in an airplane bathroom to do drugs and other nonsense, that quite frankly, no one should be proud of. He of course talked about his infamous stay at the Plaza Hotel and the incidents that occurred there that night. Another story was about him performing CPR on a model that had overdosed on heroin. (Really? People paid to hear about this crap? Just pick up a copy of the Star magazine.)
It seems the New York citizens that dished out money for this did not seem amused by any of it. Any of the applause that came at the beginning of the night turned into boos. The show also lasted about 30 minutes less than his others shows did in Ohio. He left the show sending his love to the crowd, well kind of. Charlie Sheen told the audience that he loved them and they were the best crowd ever, except for some of them.
