DRESS DETAILSAuthentic Vera Wang Luxe Le Notre Gown from her Luxe couture collection. Silk organza overlayed with ivory French Alencon lace. Soft mermaid shape with a subtle sweetheart neckline. Stunning more than words could ever convey in a modified silhouette. Opulent but, not over the top or ostentatious.Purchased for $8500 at Vera Wang boutique in NYC.Sample sale floor model.From the 2008 Luxe Collection.Worn only a few hours for a studio shoot and ceremony.
DRESS ALTERATIONSLabel size 4. Altered to fit a label size 2 (street size 0). Straps have been removed. Neckline altered into a sweetheart shape. Cut for a more dramatic mermaid or flute shape. French bustle. The gown was carefully altered, retaining all original material, to allow the dress to be let back out to a label size 4. If needed, your seamstress can let the gown back out or take it in further.

PRESERVATION METHODThe gown has been professionally dry cleaned but may need another cleaning and pressing. Important note: There are some minor stains on the bodice that may need to be cleaned by your dry cleaner.
