About America’s Got Talent

America’s Got Talent is a spin off of the hit series Britain’s Got Talent. The show originally aired in June 2006 on NBC and has become extremely popular since its debut. Contestants are judged on their “talents” in the hopes of winning the $1 million grand prize. Season 6 will begin on May 31, 2011 and has Nick Cannon as the host alongside Sharon Osbourne, Piers Morgan and Howie Mandel as the judges. Everyone’s favorite American Idol judge, Simon Cowell is the executive producer of America’s Got Talent.
